The ZERO Zero FXS headlight bulb uses an H3 size for both high beam and low beam applications. Replacement chart data covers 2016 through 2017 model years with corresponding bulb size specifications.
The year-by-year compatibility chart below provides a quick reference to verify the correct bulb size for your vehicle.
The H3 is a single-filament halogen bulb operating at 12 volts and 55 watts, fitted with a PK22s base. The PK22s is a push-fit base type secured by a single pin, distinguishing it from screw or bayonet-style bases used in other halogen formats.
The H3 bulb carries ECE certification, meaning it meets the Economic Commission for Europe lighting standard. It is also approved for use in the United States and Japan, giving it broad regulatory acceptance across major automotive markets.
The Zero FXS uses the H3 bulb for both the high beam and low beam headlight positions across the 2016-2017 model years. Because both functions share the same bulb type, a single H3 replacement serves either position.
Since the H3 is a single-filament design, it produces only one light output level per bulb. Vehicles requiring separate high and low beam intensities from a single unit would instead use a dual-filament type such as the H4, making the H3 unsuitable as a direct substitute in those applications.
The PK22s base is specific to the H3 format and is not shared with other common halogen types such as the H1, H7, or H11. This base incompatibility means H3 sockets do not accept those alternative bulb types, and vice versa.
