The Victory High-Ball headlight bulb utilizes 9003 and H11 sizes for both high and low beam functions. Replacement chart data spans 2012 to 2017 model years with corresponding bulb size specifications.
The year-by-year compatibility chart below provides a quick reference to verify the correct bulb size for your vehicle.
The 9003 bulb is an ANSI-standard dual-filament halogen type operating at 12V with a 60W high beam filament and a 55W low beam filament, fitted with a P43t base. Because both filaments are housed in a single bulb, one unit serves both the high beam and low beam functions simultaneously.
The H11 is an ECE-standard single-filament halogen bulb rated at 12V and 55W, using a PGJ19-2 base. Unlike the 9003, it carries only one filament, meaning separate bulbs are required for each beam function when this type is used.
On the Victory High-Ball, the 9003 bulb handles both the high beam and low beam headlight positions for the 2014-2017 model years, with a single bulb type covering both functions across those years.
The 2012-2013 High-Ball uses the H11 bulb in both the high beam and low beam positions. Because the H11 is a single-filament bulb, the motorcycle's headlight assembly for those years relies on separate H11 units dedicated to each beam position.
The 9003 and H11 are not interchangeable. The P43t base of the 9003 and the PGJ19-2 base of the H11 are physically distinct, and the dual-filament versus single-filament configurations differ fundamentally in how they interface with the vehicle's wiring.
A fitment change occurred between the 2013 and 2014 model years of the Victory High-Ball, with the headlight specification shifting from the H11 to the 9003 across both beam positions.
