Ski-Doo MX Z Blizzard headlight bulbs utilize 9008 and 9003 sizes for both high and low beam applications. The replacement chart covers 2016 through 2019 production years with corresponding bulb size specifications.
The year-by-year compatibility chart below provides a quick reference to verify the correct bulb size for your vehicle.
The 9003 bulb is a dual-filament halogen type rated at 12V with a 60W high beam filament and a 55W low beam filament, fitted with a P43t base. It serves both the high beam and low beam headlight positions on the Ski-Doo MX Z Blizzard for the 2016-2018 model years.
The 9008 bulb is also a dual-filament halogen type rated at 12V, but carries a slightly different wattage split of 65W and 55W, and uses a P26t base rather than the P43t found on the 9003. It fills both headlight positions on the 2019 model year.
Both the 9003 and 9008 are recognized under ANSI standards applicable in the United States and Canada, meaning each conforms to a defined set of photometric and dimensional requirements for those markets.
Although both bulbs are dual-filament halogen types operating on 12V, the difference in base design between the P43t and P26t means the 9003 and 9008 are not interchangeable. The physical base configuration of each prevents cross-fitment between the 2016-2018 and 2019 model years.
Because a single bulb type handles both high and low beam functions in each model year, the MX Z Blizzard uses a single-bulb dual-filament arrangement rather than separate dedicated bulbs for each beam mode.
