Ski-Doo Freeride headlight bulbs utilize 9008 and 9003 sizes for both high and low beam configurations. The replacement chart covers 2012 through 2019 production years with corresponding bulb size specifications.
The year-by-year compatibility chart below provides a quick reference to verify the correct bulb size for your vehicle.
The 9003 bulb is a dual-filament halogen type operating at 12V with a 60W high beam filament and a 55W low beam filament, fitted with a P43t base. Its dual-filament design allows a single bulb to serve both high and low beam functions within one housing.
The 9008 bulb is also a dual-filament halogen type operating at 12V, with a 65W high beam filament and a 55W low beam filament, fitted with a P26t base. Both the 9003 and 9008 are recognized under ANSI standards applicable in the United States and Canada.
The Ski-Doo Freeride used the 9003 bulb for both high and low beam headlights across the 2012-2018 model years, making it the predominant bulb type in these specifications.
The 2019 Ski-Doo Freeride shifted to the 9008 bulb for both high and low beam positions, replacing the 9003 used in prior model years.
Although the 9003 and 9008 are both dual-filament halogen bulbs rated at 12V with a shared 55W low beam output, their base types differ. The 9003 uses a P43t base while the 9008 uses a P26t base, meaning the two bulb types are not physically interchangeable despite their functional similarities.
The high beam output also differs between the two types. The 9003 produces 60W on the high beam filament, whereas the 9008 produces 65W, representing a 5W increase in high beam output.
