• The 2357NA bulb is the most frequently specified front turn signal bulb across the Kia Soul lineup, appearing in the 2014-2024 model years with the exception of 2020, as well as in 2013 being replaced by the H21W.
• The 2357NA is a dual-filament bulb rated at 12V with a high-filament draw of 26.9W and a low-filament draw of 8W, using a BAY15d bayonet base. Its natural amber glass produces the amber signal color without relying on a colored lens.
• The 1156NA serves as the rear turn signal bulb for the Kia Soul across the 2014-2019 model years. It is a single-filament bulb rated at 12V and 21W, fitted with a BA15s bayonet base, and also uses natural amber glass for its color output.
• The BAY15d base of the 2357NA and the BA15s base of the 1156NA are physically distinct and not interchangeable, despite both being bayonet-style fittings. The offset pin arrangement of the BAY15d prevents incorrect installation in a BA15s socket.
• The 2021-2024 Kia Soul rear turn signal uses the PY21W, an ECE-standard single-filament amber bulb rated at 12V and 21W with a BAU15s base. The BAU15s base uses an asymmetric pin offset that differs from both the BA15s and BAY15d bases, making cross-substitution physically impossible.
• The 2010-2013 Kia Soul front turn signal used the H21W, an ECE-standard single-filament bulb rated at 12V and 21W with a BAY9s base. The BAY9s is a smaller bayonet fitting than the BAY15d used by the 2357NA, and the two are not interchangeable.

• The 2020 Kia Soul is specified with the 12961 for both the front and rear turn signal positions. This is a miniature wedge-type bulb with a W2.1x9.5d base rated at 12V and 5W, a significantly lower wattage than all other turn signal bulbs listed in these specifications.
• The NA suffix on the 2357NA and 1156NA designates natural amber glass, distinguishing these bulbs from their clear-glass counterparts, the 2357 and 1156. Substituting a clear version in a position designed for a natural amber bulb may not meet amber color requirements without a corresponding amber lens.
• The ANSI-standard bulbs listed, the 2357NA and 1156NA, and the ECE-standard bulbs, the H21W, PY21W, and P21W, reflect different regional regulatory frameworks. ANSI designations are primarily used in North American markets, while ECE designations are used in European and international markets.
