The 1073 bulb follows the ANSI standard used in the United States and Canada. It operates at 12V with a 13W output and shares the same BA15s bayonet base configuration as the P21W, though it draws significantly less power.
The 1073 is a lower wattage variant of the 1156 bulb. While both share the BA15s base, the wattage difference means the two are not direct substitutes in applications where power draw is a factor.
The Kawasaki KLX250 front turn signal uses the P21W bulb for both 2006 and 2007 model years.
