• The 9005 bulb is the most frequently specified high beam type across the Dodge Charger range, appearing in both high beam and low beam positions for model years 2011-2022 in halogen-equipped configurations. It is a single-filament halogen unit operating at 12V and 65W with a P20d base, built to the ANSI standard used in the United States and Canada.
• The D3S is the HID counterpart to the 9005 across the 2011-2022 model years, appearing in both beam positions on HID-equipped Chargers. It is a mercury-free xenon discharge bulb rated at 42V and 35W, built around a PK32d-5 base with an integral ignitor, and is designed exclusively for projector-type housings.
• The 2008-2010 Dodge Charger with HID headlamps specifies the H9 bulb for certain beam positions. The H9 is an ECE-standard single-filament halogen bulb with a PGJ19-5 base rated at 12V and 65W, and while it originates from European standards, it carries US approval as well.
• The 2015 Dodge Charger with halogen capsule headlamps is the only model year in the specifications to use the 9012 bulb in both beam positions.
