• The H11 bulb is the most widely used replaceable bulb type across the Chrysler Town & Country's headlight specifications, covering both high beam and low beam positions for the 2008-2016 model years. It is a single-filament halogen bulb operating at 12V and 55W, built to ECE standards with a PGJ19-2 base, and is also approved for use in the United States.
• The 2008-2016 Town & Country low beam positions carried two distinct bulb options depending on the headlamp system installed. Vehicles fitted with halogen capsule headlamps used the H11, while those equipped with HID headlamps required the D1S, a xenon discharge bulb rated at 85V and 35W with a PK32d-2 base and an integral ignitor designed specifically for projector-type housings. These two types are not interchangeable.
• The 9007 is a dual-filament halogen bulb rated at 12V with a high-beam output of 65W and a low-beam output of 55W, built to ANSI standards with a PX29t base. The Town & Country used this bulb for both high and low beam functions in the same socket across the 2001-2004 model years, as well as in 1996-1997.
• The 9004 is another dual-filament ANSI halogen bulb, rated at 12V with 65W on high beam and 45W on low beam, using a P29t base. It served both beam functions in the 1990-1995 Town & Country. The 9004 operates at a lower wattage on the low beam filament than the 9007, making the two types non-interchangeable despite their similar dual-filament design.
• The 9005 and 9005XS are both single-filament ANSI halogen bulbs rated at 12V and 65W, differing in base orientation. The 9005 uses a P20d base, while the 9005XS features a straight 180-degree base variant. The Town & Country specifications list both types across the 1998-2000 model years, with some years showing one or both variants depending on the beam position.
• Sealed beam units, which require replacement of the entire lamp assembly rather than an individual bulb, were specified for the Town & Country across a broad range of earlier model years. The H4651 and H4656 are both 4x6-inch rectangular sealed beam units used for high and low beam positions respectively in the 1978-1988 model years, with the H4652 appearing as a variant in 1980 and 1984 for the low beam position.
• The H5001 and H5006 sealed beam units, used in the 1958-1977 Town & Country, share a 4-inch square and 5.75-inch round form factor respectively, with the H5001 designated for high beam and the H5006 for low beam. Both operate at 12V and are ANSI-standard units where the entire sealed assembly is the serviceable component.
• The H6006 and H6024 sealed beam types appeared in the earliest years of the specifications. The H6006 is a 5x7-inch rectangular unit used from 1950-1955, while the H6024 is a 7-inch round unit listed for 1956-1957. Both high and low beam positions shared the same unit type within each of those model years.
