It serves as both the high beam and low beam source within a single self-contained assembly, meaning the entire unit is replaced rather than an internal bulb. The Chevrolet S10 used this type across all documented model years from 1982-1993.
The H4666 is also a rectangular sealed beam unit rated at 12V and follows the same whole-unit replacement design as the H6054. It appeared on the S10 from 1994-1997, but only on vehicles equipped with sealed beam headlamps.
