• The D3S is a mercury-free HID (xenon) discharge bulb operating at 42V and 35W, built to ECE standards with a PK32d-5 base and an integral ignitor. It is designed exclusively for projector-type housings and serves as both the high beam and low beam bulb in the Chevrolet Corvette for the 2014-2020 model years.
• The D1S is an HID (xenon) discharge bulb operating at 85V and 35W, built to ECE standards with a PK32d-2 base and an integral ignitor. It is used solely for the low beam position in the 2005-2013 Corvette, while the high beam position for those same years uses the halogen H9 bulb.
• The H9 is a single-filament halogen bulb rated at 12V and 65W with a PGJ19-5 base, conforming to ECE standards while also carrying US approval. It fills the high beam position for the 2005-2013 model years, pairing with the D1S low beam in a mixed halogen-and-HID headlamp arrangement.
• The 9003 is a dual-filament halogen bulb rated at 12V with a high beam output of 60W and a low beam output of 55W, using a P43t base under ANSI standards. In the Corvette, it is specified for export-configured vehicles from 1997-2004 that carry headlamps marked "E," covering both right-hand and left-hand rule-of-the-road variants, and it handles both beam functions within a single bulb.
• For 1997-2004 domestic-market Corvettes, separate 9005 and 9006 ANSI halogen bulbs are used for high and low beams respectively, rather than the single dual-filament 9003 unit found in the export configuration. The 9005 operates at 12V and 65W with a P20d base, while the 9006 operates at 12V and 55W with a P22d base, and the two types are not interchangeable with each other.
• The H6054 is a 5x7-inch rectangular sealed beam unit conforming to ANSI standards and operating at 12V. Because the entire unit contains the filament, reflector, and lens as one assembly, it is replaced as a whole rather than as a separate bulb. It serves both the high beam and low beam positions in the 1984-1996 Corvette.
• Sealed beam units account for the headlamp fitment across all Corvette model years from 1953 through 1996. The H6006 and H6024 are used in the 1953-1957 range, the H5001 and H5006 round units cover the high and low beam positions respectively from 1958-1982, and the H6054 rectangular unit is fitted from 1984-1996. None of these sealed beam types accept a replacement bulb; the entire housing assembly is the serviceable component.
