The D1S bulb, specified for low beam HID fitment on the SRX from 2004-2009, also operates at 85V and 35W but carries an integral ignitor built into the bulb body, distinguishing it from the D2S despite both being HID projector types. The two are not interchangeable due to differing base designs and ignitor configurations.
The 9005 and 9005XS share the same 12V, 65W halogen output, but the 9005XS features a straight 180-degree base rather than the angled P20d base of the standard 9005. The SRX uses the 9005 for high beam halogen fitment from 2010-2016 and the 9005XS for 2004-2006, meaning these two variants serve different model year ranges and are not drop-in replacements for each other.
The H11 halogen bulb, rated at 12V and 55W with a PGJ19-2 base, serves as the low beam halogen option on the SRX from 2010-2016. It holds ECE approval and is also accepted in the United States, making it a widely distributed type across global markets.
