Cadillac Seville front and rear side marker bulbs utilize 194, 194NA, 1157, and 24 bulb sizes depending on location and model generation. The replacement chart covers 1976 through 2004 production years with corresponding bulb size specifications.
The year-by-year compatibility chart below provides a quick reference to verify the correct bulb size for your vehicle.
The 194 bulb is the most widely used type across the Cadillac Seville side marker specifications. It is an ANSI-standard miniature wedge bulb in the T10 form factor, rated at 12V and 3.78W.
The 194NA bulb shares the same T10 wedge form factor, voltage, and wattage as the standard 194, but its glass envelope is tinted natural amber rather than clear. This amber tint produces a colored output without a separate lens filter.
The Cadillac Seville front side markers for 1995-1997 and several earlier model years use the 194NA rather than the clear 194, meaning the amber color is built into the bulb itself.
Because the 194 and 194NA share identical physical and electrical specifications, the only functional difference between them is the glass color. Substituting one for the other will affect the output color of the marker light.
The 1979 Cadillac Seville front side marker uses the 1157, a dual-filament bulb with a BAY15d bayonet base rated at 12V and 21W/5W. This bulb is physically and electrically distinct from the T10 wedge types used in all other listed model years.
The BAY15d bayonet base of the 1157 is not interchangeable with the T10 wedge base of the 194 or 194NA. Installing the wrong base type in a 1979 front side marker socket is not possible without modification.
The 1157 carries a significantly higher wattage than the 194 series. Its dual-filament design provides two separate power levels, 21W and 5W, within a single bulb, a configuration not present in any other bulb type listed in these specifications.
The rear side markers for the Cadillac Seville 1991-1992 use the bulb size 24, a single-filament bulb with a BA9s base rated at 12V and 2W. The BA9s is a miniature bayonet cap base, distinct from both the T10 wedge and the BAY15d bayonet used elsewhere in these specifications.
The 2W rating of the 24 bulb is lower than the 3.78W of the 194 series, and the BA9s base makes it physically incompatible with sockets designed for T10 wedge bulbs. The rear side marker sockets on 1991-1992 models are therefore not interchangeable with those on adjacent model years that use the 194.
All bulb types listed across these specifications conform to ANSI standards recognized in both the United States and Canada.
