• The H7 bulb is the most frequently specified type across the Audi S6 headlight data, appearing in high beam positions for 2016-2018 and in low beam positions for 2013-2014 Xenon-equipped variants, as well as in 2007-2008 Halogen Capsule low beam applications. H7 is a single-filament halogen bulb operating at 55 watts with a PX26d base.
• The D2S bulb is specified for both high and low beam positions on the 2009-2011 Audi S6, as well as for HID-equipped 2007-2008 models in both beam positions. D2S is a discharge bulb designed for projector-style housings and requires a compatible ballast to operate.
• The D3S bulb is specified for both high and low beam positions on 2013-2014 models equipped with HID headlamps. Unlike D2S, the D3S does not require an external igniter, as the ignition circuit is integrated into the bulb itself.
