• The Audi Q5 Sportback uses three distinct bulb types across its headlight positions: 9006, H8, and D5S.
• The D5S is the low beam bulb for the Q5 Sportback across the 2021-2024 model years. It is an HID (xenon) discharge type operating at 12V and 25W, built to the ECE standard used in Europe and worldwide, and fitted with a PK32d-7 base in a low-voltage compact form.
• The high beam position of the 2021-2023 Q5 Sportback uses the H8, a single-filament halogen bulb rated at 12V and 35W. It carries a PGJ19-1 base and conforms to the ECE standard, though it also holds approval for use in the United States.
• The 2024 Q5 Sportback high beam shifts to the 9006, a single-filament halogen bulb rated at 12V and 55W. The 9006 follows the ANSI standard applicable in the US and Canada and uses a P22d base.
